Does the Hawk or Bros benefit from using "free-flowing" baffles, a long life air-filter (K&N, Piper Pods, etc.) and carburation to suit?

Some owners are happy with the quiet melody of the machine in stock trim, whilst others want a more sporty feel. By adding the after-market exhaust, etc., the throttle response is greatly improved with the engine giving a much livelier performance. The "freeing" of the V-Twin sound makes the cost of these modifications well worth while, in my opinion.
