How slack should the chain be?

The tool kit should contain both a Drive Chain Slack Gauge and a Eccentric Bearing Carrier Wrench. It is strongly recommended that you obtain these tools if not supplied with the motorcycle. It is essential that the correct adjustment is made to achieve good chain life. The chain must also be regularly lubricated with a SAE #80 or 90 Gear Oil.
