Overview:
The Fuel Exhaust for the Bros is a stainless pipe that is easy to install. It is a well made end can,
although I cannot find any evidence what so ever that the company actually exists !?!
The centre pipes are also very well made, and the welds are obviously a professionals work.
The sound is not that of a training school bike! It is the sort of sound that, if you were cruising home
from work in the early hours of the morning, it would be advised that you switch it off and coast back
to your house if you would like to keep your neighbours (or if you live near me) your windows !
Installation:
If you can change your spark plugs you can fit an exhaust It's a very simple pipe to install.
I didn't do it myself because I simply couldn't be bothered, but it took the shop about 20 minutes.
The fitting is slip on and do up, basically. The only problem with this exhaust, as it is a race exhaust
that is designed for track use, is that it has been designed for a Bros without a centre stand.
Although you can keep your centre stand with the use of a simple bracket which you can make at
home, without the need of being mechanically minded.
Aesthetics - Looks:
I looked into the Lazer, but I wanted a more race can look. Which is exactly what this beauty gives
you! I made sure to get it in stainless, but I think it comes in carbon as well. The only down point on
looks is the fact that it covers up the back wheel, and the single sided swing arm is a very nice part
of the bike.
Aesthetics - Sound:
Well, it's louder than the stock pipe, and it is rather offensive! If I had to compare it to something then
it would be ... a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM 9.9l without any sort of muffler at all! If you want the
sort of sound where your mates know it's you turning up at your local bike meet before you even reach
that particular town, then this is the pipe for you. I love it, it is a rumbling thunder roar, but when you
give it a handful, it does give a nice crackle. It makes the bike.
Jetting:
I switched the filter for K&N's and I don't know the actual specs for the jets but I know I had it jetted ;o)
Overall:
This baby's a beaut! But I would say that it will NOT pass a MOT, and if you do get stopped by the
Polezei (which I haven't) I would cover up the 'Not for road use' sign which is stamped on the top of the
exhaust. I would ask them why they didn't put it on the bottom ... but I don't know if they even have a
phone!  But yes, if you're looking for a really loud racey can then go for the Fuel.
