What is the correct procedure for checking the oil level in the engine?

1. Place the motorcycle on its centre stand and shift into neutral.
2. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
3. Stop the engine, remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and wipe it clean.
4. Check the oil level with the oil filler cap/dipstick by inserting it without screwing it in.
5. Top up as necessary using the recommended oil.(API Service Class.: SE or SF. Visc. SAE 10W-40)
6. Check the sealing O-Ring for damage and replace if necessary.
